- Biography

Like most little girls, I started drawing
pictures of horses from the first time I picked up a crayon. I
remember receiving my first set of Rembrandt pastels (which I still
use today) from someone special when I was nine.
Art classes were always a favorite part of my school years. As an
adult I took a few Interior Design classes at a technical college,
which led me to meet Denise Zingg, who was starting Spectrum School
of the Arts in Racine. I became her first student and have been
involved with Spectrum ever since!
Animals have always been my passion. I have now expanded into
landscapes, still life and portraits in other mediums such as oils,
pen and ink, pencil, etc. I am currently studying watercolor at
Spectrum, working on being bold and free with a flow of vivid color.
