Spectrum Gallery is a unique
cooperative gallery where the artist is encouraged and celebrated in
their individual expression through the media of their choice. In the
spirit of original artists such as Robert Henri and Mary Cassatt, we
champion the pursuit of personal excellence by not relying on juries,
awards or contests to know the true value of art. The artists choose
their own work for public display, set up exhibit schedules and work
together to create a dynamic, friendly environment for the arts where
everyone is welcome.
Spectrum Gallery also helps artists by offering
o Artistic support, feedback and help with hanging shows.
o A low yearly fee and payment plans.
o Free use of the Matting and Framing Studio and materials.
o Free use of the Spectrum Art Library.
o 30% off of classes and workshops.
o The opportunity to exhibit their work through the website,
Located in the east building of the
DeKoven
Center, in Racine, WI, the gallery inspires everyone with its artistic
diversity and the spectacular views of Lake Michigan as well as the
DeKovens historic buildings and grounds.
